GCSE English Literature Revision.

If you're studying Blood Brothers as part of your GCSE English Literature paper, then you might find this page quite useful. Made by the management. Still under construction.

 Quotes.

Narrator: "And do we blame superstition for what came to pass or is it what we the English have come to know as class?".

"And who tell the girl in the middle of the pair, the price she'll pay for just being there?".

"There's a girl inside the woman, who's waiting to get free". ?

The most important line in the whole play. ? - "And only if we didn't live in life as well as dreams". ? It's a turning point for the play, where things are as good as they are going to get, perhaps. There's no going back from here. ?

Mickey: 'I wish I could still believe in all of that Blood Brother stuff, Eddie. But I can't, becausewhen no-one was looking, I grew up'.

"Why didn't you give me away, mam? I could've been ... I could've been him".

More to come, of course.

Here is a really good education recouse pack: http://www.ticketsforschools.com/education_packs/e1607-Education_Pack[1].pdf .

We also recommend that you buy a copy of the book. The orange Methuen one is very good, updated, and seems to be the one that most of the schools use, I think. It is available from all good book stores, Amazon.co.uk, online and eBay.
