On 6th August it was announced that 'Blood Brothers' is to close at the Phoenix Theatre on 10th November after over 24 years in London's West End. It was extended by two weeks from the previous date. You can transfer your tickets to the new final night.
The principle cast members for the current cast will play until 27th October. For the final two weeks it is most likely that past cast members will return to show. Although none have been formally announced by the production company yet, Mark Michael Hutchinson (who played Eddie from 1990-2006) will reprise the role for the final fortnight. On 16th October, it was announced on GSA Alumni's Twitter that Warwick Evans (original narrator for this production) will be playing the narrator and on her own Twitter that Lyn Paul will be playing Mrs. Johnstone. Further casting to be announced.
The closure was announced following Twitter rumours a couple of days previously and also following apparent deals over a theatre transfer to Playhouse Theatre or Garrick Theatre fell through.
